$ down the drain / Old SSCWN article

CUL

New member
We are looking to reduce our sewer costs. I remember an old SSCWN article that was titled Dollars Down the Drain or similar. It discussed water going down the drain vs water tracked out on cars and into the lot. I've been looking through old issues and doing various internet searches but can't seem to find it. Did anyone archive a copy of this article? It might be a great source to discuss with our sewer utility company. THANKS!

Can I get a copy of this as well?? I also am trying to reduce sewer costs and have been considering installing a sewer discharge meter but they are not cheap!

I had a conversation with the city about sewer costs yesterday. "Thats just how much it is and how it works" was the response. so $26/1000 gallons for water & sewage it is...
