Dollars or time on Count up?

For those of you with count up credit cards and Dixmor timers, do you display dollars on count up or time on count up? My customers are not very smart and get confused with how count up works, even though I have plenty of signage explaining how it works.

You cannot display money on count up as far as I know. When customer pushes the button to stop the clock the display will show the amount spent. Not aware of any other way to make the Dixmor display work.

It is selectable on the LED 6 between dollars or time, we leave it on the default of dollars, the nayax shows both, so customers usually look at that and get both pieces of information quickly

Interesting. I may need to check the instruction sheet again just to know how to toggle between the two options.

I’m using dollars on count up on the timer. I’ve literally seen customers tap their card and just stare at the timer in confusion for a minute. And then they end up pushing stop and get pissed because they were charged $2.00. SMH

I don't think our credit customers look at the timer at all, most use the nayax interface, which I know isn't the same scenario with cryptopay.
