I was talking to an old time wash guy and he said something weird. He said that the Rowe BC-1400 can dispense either one dollar coin or 4 quarters....Let me back up first. The changer setup would be one hopper full of dollar coins and one hopper full of quarters. He was saying that there was something in the programming that would allow the computer to dispense 4 quarters on a $1 vend, and then on the next vend, it would dispense a $1 coin on a $1 vend?!?!?!

I would like to do something like this, I just don't think he's right?

That's not true. It can dispense your choice of either a $1 coin or 4 quarters for a single, and mix payout of $1 coins and quarters for larger bill per your settings.

That's what I thought. I contacted Rowe, but haven't heard back.
