Dencar Retrofit Door Paystation

So reason i posted this is because we put money down for their WS2 retrofit.

Its been an absolute nightmare. Phil and Company wont respond to our emails. Zero communication. They lied to us about shipment dates several times and then Ron sent us an email pretty much admitting they lied to us about why it was delayed.

We heard every excuse from procurement delays to shipping errors.... turns out the unit is NOT working properly at all. Theyre not even selling the unit now because it surges power and the only way to fix it is to reset.

Im set to go to ICA in vegas on Friday. Im sure Ill be speaking my mind to Dencar if I see them.
We are in the same exact scenario. We placed two orders for the Retro Fit door units. One in January and one in March. Both still have not shipped. We have been asking for refunds for almost a month with little to no communication. How can they not issue a refund for a product they cannot produce?

It's always funny how quick they take it but a struggle to give it back. If what your saying is correct, If I was in your position I would not ask but demand for your money. I would honestly no BS call them 50 times a day every day, send them an email every hour, and be an absolute nuisance until I got my money. I would post about them on you tube, facebook, here, and anywhere you can and let them know you will do this until you get your money back. There is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't be able to get a refund. Good luck!

Dencar was supposed to deliver our ACW retrofit units last Oct. But we didn't receive ours until Feb after I told my distributor I would consider cancelling my order. Both units were damage when my distributor received them. And Dencar sent us the replacements in Mar. So it's SIX MONTHS delay! We placed our order last year in May.

With the recent trade war, I think it will cause further delay and price increase. It's possible they're putting a hold on the retrofit door production because of the many issues reported.

As mentioned, we have been having a lot of issues with the retrofit doors since we installed the first door. The biggest one is a customer pay or scan and it won't trigger the wash. This happened almost everyday and sometimes a number of times a day. After several updates, they become more stable recently. Some other small issues are hardware and software related. For example, cracks start to show on the bill insertion housing for the bill recyclers - it's cheaply made with plastic that is definitely not suitable for the outdoor environment. Face camera randomly goes offline. VIA guard sometimes fails to syn with the LPR. But the later two issues happen to other higher end models as well.

Do I still like the retrofit doors after owning them for two months? Yes when everything is working properly. I sincerely wish Dencar success because they have an excellent membership selling model. But they grew way too fast without having a support and parts infrastructure.
