D&S 5000: Weep or Blowout?

Hi all,

First time poster, been in the business for about 7 months now. Had a stroke of luck and got an upgrade from an original Hydrospray system to a D&S 5000 for a great deal. What I liked about the Hydrospray is that it had a Weep System (reclaim too) which allowed me to leave garage doors open last winter down to 15° at night without problems. Doors currently in place are manual front & back on the autowash.

Now we have a D&S 5000, and it has the blowout system in it. I really like it and the upgrade has had rave reviews with customers. But, I'm thinking ahead to winter. My question is, do any of y'all have a water weep system on your D&S 5000 instead of the blowout?

Current set up is manual doors only with floor-heat for the D&S tunnel. Some thoughts that I'm looking for feedback on.
1) How have y'all insulated your automatic bays? We're Midwest climate where winters can be cold. Got in the biz last winter and it was a really cold one but we managed with the Hydrospray. I only have a metal roof with no insulation now in the automatic bay.
2) Anyone with a water weep on the D&S 5000? Questions on that revolve around if that weep water gets all over the chains, etc. And, if customers use in the winter, obviously water is going to get everywhere.
3) How does the blowout system do? Any minimum temps where you're like "yep, we're closing!"

I've got some time to figure it out, it's like 100 degrees this week but it won't be long before the winter cold settles in.

Appreciate your help!

I had an older D&S 5000, but it was 15 years ago & I can't remember much about it. It had the blowout& that worked very good in Okla.
We only closed below 25°
