CryptoTap Plus and Dixmor LED7 Timers

Hi!

Over the weekend I got CryptoPay Plus installed at my car wash. I need help getting the configuration right though.

I just recently bought this car wash and it's currently set at $2.00 for 4 min and each additional 0.25 is 30 seconds. The CryptoPay Plus is configured with the count-up feature at $3 minimum and it gives them 6 min. I have been told the prices are too cheap and I've done a bit of updating and want to go up in price. Should Tap to pay be the same price as coins or should I raise the price? I don't want to run people off.

Edit: Do you guys post what the charges are?

I would keep the same price on cash or credit. I'm five dollars to start for five minutes. I'm in the northeast. I get very little pushback on price. Considering 75% of the work comes from the self-serve side of the business versus the automatic wash, I think it's a good idea to keep a nice high price point, especially if you have a good wash with good pressure, good chemicals, and a nice clean and tidy environment for the customer.

I'm located in Arab, AL just south of Huntsville. Looking at the other self serves around, they're all around the $2-3 range to start. I did just change over to better chemicals, so that might be a driving factor as well.

I took over my site last september and it was 1.50 for 3mins.

We added swipers with $5min and cash to start $3 at $1/min.

I plan on Jan 1st moving start to $4 amd following year $5.

WE did not just raise prices, we did a alot of work to make sure everything was functioning properly and had good chems before we did that.

Go to a c store and let me know how much water you get for our start price.
Thats my reply to customers.
