Looking for some help with Cryptotap - I am upgrading my bays with tap, all bays a Dixmor LED6 time.
- I started with 1 bay, removed the swiper completely that I had before.
- Wired the black and yellow cable to the 24v power.
- Wired one of the red/green cables to the same black 24v power source.
- Wired the last red/green cable to PIN 8 on the Dixmor timer (where the swiper had been going to)
Turn it on, configured tap in the Cryptopay website. Everything works beautifully.
Now I am working on my second bay, and the same configuration doesn't seem to work.
- Cables wired the same way for black/yellow.
- Red/green control cable to PIN 8 and other red/green cable to the black power source.
- Cryptotap turns, I was able to configure it on the mycryptopay site.
Now to the problem.
1) You tap the card.
2) Cryptotap beeps
3) It actually begins charging (I can see that in the cryptopay logs afterwards)
4) The problem is the Dixmor timer doesn't go (and still keeps scrolling: "Please Insert $1.00 to start"
So somehow the control isn't coming from cryptotap to the timer.
Has anyone had this issue before? Is this a timer issue? (I haven't had the chance to swap timers to see if that is the problem?)
Any other diagnosis assistance is much appreciated.
