My Cryptopay system for my bays is moving the decimal over one space when showing the final charge amount to customers after they push the stop button.

I've had 3 customers in the last two days yelling me about how I am ripping them off etc...

I've tested this myself.

I swiped my own card, let the bay run for about 8 minutes, and the final charged shown on the display is $81. But the actual charge that hit my bank account was $8.10. So the system is moving the decimal over 1 spot.

Anybody ever encounter this?

Is there a fix?

Is it just one bay? If so did you compare the swiper config in the Cryptopay control panel with the other swipers?

I agree with Roz. It sounds like an issue with the actual timer. I had a similar issue with a bay where the decimal point didn't show and had customers freaking out thinking it was charging them a dollar a second. I replaced the LED timer with an older one I had laying around and the decimal point worked fine.

NEVER throw a Dixmor timer out, ship it to Dixmor, let them check it, and if it's toast, let them throw it out...
(Call first, with serial # in hand, some are too old to salvage)
