We have designed a security cover to protect the CryptoPay reader from vandalism such as knocking it off the vendor with a hammer. I do not understand why the “bad guys” want to do things like that; there’s no money in it. We have had Nayax readers blown off the front of the vendor, so we built a cover for the Nayax reader to protect it. Therefore we designed and built a cover for the CryptoPay reader that protects it. We secure both of these systems and still allow your customers to swipe their card through the reader.
I guess I am beginning to “think like a bad guy” and want to protect all parts of the vendor. Not only does security provide peace of mind for the wash operator, but it gives me peace of mind knowing I don’t have to try to fix it from far away.
