We have the answer to adding Credit Card Acceptance to your existing Unitec WS2 and Hamilton's ACW and Goldline using the NAYAX VPOS Touch "contactless telemetry device" paired with our MDB interface device. The system works with cell phone signals no land line internet required with low clearing costs. The kit gives you everything required including the Nayax Card Reader, Interface circuit board, Brackets and wiring harness. Comes with instructions for easy installation. Several differences. First the Nayax uses your local "cell tower" to process the transaction there is no need for a hard wired internet connection. Nayax handles all the compliance requirements so you are not stuck with PCI compliance issues which normally end up costing you. Secondly the Nayax will accept "Chip Read" "Swipe Read" and "Tap Read". Since the swipe is going away soon that leaves the "Tap" and "Chip" read. Presently CP only offers the "Swipe" and "Tap" Reads and not the "Chip Read" but requires 2 devices to accomplish the choice and requires a hard wired internet line. I hope this helps contact me at 901-744-3934 for more information

Cryptopay also handles the PCI compliance. You can also use a cell tower type internet with Cryptopay if you wish. (just not built into the system like Nayax) The vast majority of washes already have a land line type internet for monitoring their surveillance system so that is mostly a moot point. I'm not sure when swipe will go away but I believe the credit card companies have shifted fraud liability to the merchant. That includes any credit card system that a card was swiped instead of using the chip or tap. I agree about the Cryptopay system needing two parts to use swipe and tap plus not having chip reading. If Cryptopay would use a processor other than Worldpay and come up with an all-in-one swipe/tap/chip reader then it would be completely over for any competing company.

Agree on the processor. Nayax has the ability to have a failsafe rollover if the service is uninterrupted so a hard wired internet or LTE modem if available could act as a hot backup. Customers don’t like swipe if a chip read is available and the tap feature is still new to most I guess it depends on the market.

Yes we actually provide the ststem. I developed this interface board and matched it with the Nayax credit card system for the ACW and gold line Hamilton entry stations. The system began with the Unitec WS2 system and has been expanded to the Hamilton. I own Unitec systems and needed a viable credit card option without spending a fortune on equipment and ongoing charges. Feel free to contact me 901-233-8356 Steve.

Literally 2.5% +.10? Have you taken your statement and divided your merchant fees into your gross and verified that?
Yes, that is our true base fee for the nayax units - we have on autos and in our SS bays. Each unit has a $7.95 per month flat fee, but that is a drop in the bucket, makes the blended fee 2.6% + 0.10 - there are no other fees
