That doesn’t sound cumbersome or clunky at all . I tried the FaceBook thing and couldn’t get it done that way either. Geeks just don’t seem to understand that what is child’s play to them can be confusing as hell to the average joe. I could possibly accept that that is just the way it has to be, but I’m on several other forums that are very easy. This is the hardest one for posting pictures.
Yes Randy, we got it fixed today, I was gonna get to everyone and thank them for their input. I bought a small backup
compressor to get use back until we got the new pressure switch in that took WEEK from Ingersol Rand.
Basically the problem was in the contactor running on one of three legs (phase three) when we pulled the wires on the motor
to check the amperage we noticed a couple were burnt. went back to check the contactor and it was toast.
not sure at what point it failed, im assuming when the check valve blew the compressor was running all the time, I I did not
know it was the check valve so I replaced the pressure switch first, the compressor still ran so when then figured it was the check
valve. At some point the contactor was failing and the compressor was on running on single phase, I assume that why the compressor was cycling so much and we had made the assumption the pressure switch was bad.
Again, thank you all again for the input, thankfully rookies are allowed on here too. It looks like br was the closest on the diagnoses
