Have two new Commanders where the IDTech CC readers randomly stop being able to process credit cards for a period of time. Log files have not helped tech support. Internet is working, paystations confirmed to have internet as we are able to do a remote software update from the station. IDTech devices have the correct settings (checked and verified by techs). Happens randomly to both machines around the same time so probably not a bad CC card, more likely CC software issue or commander software issue.
Anyone else having such an issue? While I like Hamilton and the Commanders in general I am bit frustrated at the lack of urgency the issue is receiving so I figured perhaps others are having the same issue. The issue will usually resolve itself with time and I have no idea how many wash purchases we lost due to customers just leaving. Many regulars will call me to let me know about the issue. By the way the latest commander update is 3.6.x as I am told that 3.5.x has some serious issues - I just wish Hamilton would proactively alert customers about the new version and the fixes in each release so we would know to update the stations. In this day and age a simple thing to do with an opt-in email list.
