The Vantage bill validator is supposed to be more resistant to water and the conditions in a wash bay. Is anyone using these in the bays and how is it working out?

I'm thinking about putting one in a vac. Anyone have any opinions/thoughts about them?

Put in 4 about a month ago from Etowah Valley.

Business has been stinko last 4 weeks so have run just abiut $1000.00 in bills thru them. It is nice to see $ in bills instead of quarters. Also nice that 50% of revenue is $5.00 and $10.00. Put a sticker on box saying "Best Value" $5.00 = 11 min. 40 Sec. $10.00 = 23 Min. 80 Sec.

So far, zero problems. If it is excesively wet it will reject bill a few times drying itself out.

For the price, doesn't seem like you can really beat it. I am definitely going to look into getting a few of them. Were they are direct replacement for the Mars system?

We were a test site for coinco.
We have had the coinco vantage for about 2 yrs.
They have worked great in winter or summer.
If the acceptor gets wet it will work the bill back and forth 2-4 times and dry out the validator.
Before my Mars units could be shut down forever.
I got the expandable bill box. Have had no problems at all (not that they have been expanding lately).
