cleaning tokens

we use tokens at our wash. these are the brass generic type tokens that we value at 1 dollar. what is the best way to clean these without damage. appreciate suggestions.

There was a post about a month ago with some different suggestions on this subject.
I've used a small rock polisher from Harbor Freight, but this is slow, maybe 150 tokens in a batch running overnight. Also the belt breaks often.
A contractor friend of mine has his own paint mixer like you see used in paint stores and I tried it recently. A gallon paint can half full is probably about 400 to 500 tokens. I fill the can the rest of the way with hot, soapy water and agitate it for about 10 minutes. It works well. It's going to be a lot easier for me and all I have to do is buy a friend lunch.
If I ever run across one of these machines priced right, I'll probably buy it.
