That said / would you consider a new Hamilton DRS with a XE a good deal? Double, rear entry.
I dont know. I’ve been out of the business almost six years, and the last one I bought was in 1996.Sorry - would you consider brand new for $4,500 a good deal?
I have dual American changers dispensing tokens, good machine with minimum issuesI am looking for some good advice for my 5 bay self serve and 10 vac site. I have two very old and homemade coin changers for quarters. I want to upgrade to $1.00 tokens and quarter/token combo for vacs. I need two token changers; looking at American changer or Rowe for tokens but no cc card. I am also getting an in wall vending machine to replace laurel vendors that jam and require lots of TLC. This is big outlay and I want to do it right the first time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Also, do tokens get stuck in coin chutes as they are lighter than quarters?
Yes that's a pretty goo deal. The lowest I'd go on a New DRS would be $5800 plus shipping. Depending on the size of Token you go you might have to change the wheel in the Hopper.Sorry - would you consider brand new for $4,500 a good deal?
American changers are the worst, we have hamilton, standard, and American changer between our locations. We have the most problems with the American changer by far, probably more than all the others combined. We inherited the American changer with wash purchase, I would never willing buy another American changer
Had 5 XEs in service for decades. Had very few issues.I am looking at purchasing a Hamilton DRS from a seller that never installed it, but it has XE validators, not Mars validators. Should I run away? It seems like everybody is recommending the Mars, but this unit would save me about $1k versus buying new and paying taxes.
Interesting. Did you have 4 way acceptance on? Perhaps you were much higher Volume than I. Each of my 4 would process about $500 worth of Bill each week.my xe validators were notorious for spitting the bill back out. the customers always griped about it. i maintained the xe's. still they were too finickey.
I can't remember if I had four-way acceptance on or not. I wasn't super high volume either. I don't know. I had my validator's serviced on a regular basis by a company called money systems. I could always get the bill validator's to work pretty easily when I went out to help the customer but the customers themselves had A lot of trouble.Interesting. Did you have 4 way acceptance on?
