Cat 310 stainless sleeve

Anybody have a contact for having a cat 310 sleeved. In the past I have used IDS in Pennsylvania but have made several calls with no answer. Any help appreciated.

I made some calls about a year ago about this. I determined then that by the time you shipped, paid for the re sleeving, shipping it back, then had to put seal kits and valves in it you werent too far off from just purchasing a new head with everything ready to go from KR. Back 10+ years ago it was cost feasible and we had done several, but i don't think it is so much anymore, or maybe i was calling the most expensive people to do it.

The last one I had done was around $200 that included shipping back to me. That was a couple of years ago, what’s the going rate?
Add valve kits at $170, add seal kit at $100, that puts you at $470 (2 years ago). A NEW head with it all is $675. IIRC the quotes i was getting last year were $350+ for resleeving ( a total cost of $620. If it was $100 to $150 i might could justify keeping the old head.

No point in buying a new head, new pumps are a few more $ for new everything

Thanks Keno, I called the contact you sent me. The price is in my wheelhouse. I almost never need to replace the valves, only the seals. I like having spare heads. It makes for a quick repair then I can work on the old head at my own pace.

Replacing valves is a waste of money. They give virtually no trouble. In my 50 years in the business, I think I had one bad valve out of my five washes I owned. I replaced that one with a used one from a junk pump.
