Cash v credit %'s

To you guys that are running cash and credit .. do you guys have a rough estimate on what the percentages are once you got the credit established? Do most of you have say a 50% split, or is it more like 25% cash / 75% credit? I'm just looking at self serve (not automatics), and mainly just wash bay info if possible (not vacuums). Thanks!

You're going to get a wide range of answers given we have urban, suburban and rural car washes.

Across the board, it's 80-20 in favor of credit card for us.

When we had swipers it was around 60/40 CC. Now with tap to pay installed 80/20 is about right at our more suburban location and 70/30 at the more Urban location.

78/22 card/cash. Before Covid cash was 57%.

Befriend some gas station operator in your area nad ask about the % split. Tell them you are not looking for actual sale #s just the split. That may give you a better idea of your demographics.

Since adding tap tp the swipers at 2 locations is is over 90% credit cards. I have one location in a lower income area of town and it is a 75/25 s[lit.

75 cc to 25 cash by us in town of 30K people. We have chip reader and tap to pay.
