I don't think the buzzword "Ceramic" has played out yet. There they went and wasted two new fancy words (carbonite and graphene) at one time.
I thought it was pretty quick. They waited a good 8 years between hot carnauba and ceramic. Definitely a lot more miles that can be had on the ceramic.

From what I understand, carbonite is to be applied prior to the ceramic.

I saw that new carbonite product and immediately thought of how customers would react to a star wars term for something that protects their vehicle's paint finish

Name the wash levels things like "Thermal Detonator" or "You probably didn't recognize me because of the red arm."
