A man who was lying inside a Calgary car wash was found dead Sunday when a woman trying to use it drove into him, said police.
CBC News
The woman drove up to one of the commercial wash bays at 69 Shawville Rise S.E. Sunday morning, which activated the automatic overhead door, police said. She proceeded to drive slowly into the bay but was then blocked by something.
She got out of the vehicle and found a middle-aged man lying on the ground in front of it. An emergency crew declared the man dead at the scene.
Sgt. Joerg Gottschling of the Calgary police traffic section said they suspect that the victim was lying directly behind the closed door and "would not have been noticeable once the door opened."
The medical examiner's office is looking into the man's identity and cause of death, said Gottschling.

My buddy who lives a block from the wash said the rumour was a homeless man, who was sleeping in the enclosed bay.
