Big decision on SoftGloss: Need advice please

My concern about adding an IBA is throughput, specifically stacking room. My busiest SS turns into a traffic jam most days and trying to direct traffic is like herding cats. I fear that the waiting SS customers will block access to the IBA if it is placed where there would be sufficient stacking room. My other wash just isn't busy enough yet to consider such a large expenditure at the present time. Maybe the layout just won't be conducive to adding an IBA. Sooner, I have seen pics of your site (I think) and it is much better of a layout for automatic bays.

Are those dimensions much different?

No, just add the the space your dryer requires. If your dryer is close to the machine the next customer will not be prompted to enter the wash until the exiting vehicle clears the photo eyes on the machine or if the internal vehicle detection timer expires (120 sec max). So if a customer drives very slowly through the dryer the wash is held up until the eyes clear. In a longer bay you can get better throughput with one vehicle under the dryer while another is using the wash, assuming the customers are smart enough to use it that way.
