BEST Triple Foam Wax

Any suggestions for best 3x foam WAX (Carnauba) not polish or detergent...?
I really like Shine On, by Quest, it's just expensive. But, i bet they all are.
Im wanting to make my 3 Triple Foams all a Wax, w/ Carnauba in them. Does JBS have that?
Does Kleen-Rite sell a Triple Foam WAX? I know they have 10 types of Triple Foam polishes, but don't see a WAX...

I think you need to re visit your premise vis a vis wanting "Wax" and today's car finishes. I think that having a product with "Wax" in it has little marketing value. You should consider a product that provides good "Show" and good effect at a good value for you and go from there.

What application- IBA, or SS? I use Quest products. I use shine on in the SS bay. For the IBA I use color guard as the standard triple foam but use the Shine on or total shield in more premium wax packages.

After years of tweaking I'm just settling on one chemical mfg. Quest has everything you need and it's good stuff.

The carnauba wax products like Simoniz Hot Wax and Shine, Shine On, etc. are superhydrophobic sealers that add a lot of shine and smoothness to the car. I’ve only seen them as single color products and are usually put on with a bubbleizer or lava type arch. They basically have a similar effect as Rain X type products but are differentiated by the way they are applied. And it is worth noting that although they do contain some carnauba wax, it is usually a very small amount and it is the silicones and surfactants that are providing the shine and water beading.

The idea with these is that they were the latest product offered and differentiation in application and performance was the key. People already had triple foams - and this was now something new to put on in addition. I don’t believe the latest generation super sealers are offered as triple foams. But if you really want to put it on as a triple foam product, get one that is say yellow, and then apply it with a blue and a red conditioner or polish. The yellow one will be the one doing all the work.

Also Earls comment is correct - customers are not necessarily looking for wax. It is almost a throwback term. Sealers, Protectants, Body Protectants, Shields, Gloss and Shine seem like more current terms operators and manufactures use these days. The result is the same though.

Get a product that looks and smells good and shines up the car well and makes it bead - your customers will be happy. Keep it on your top package and you’ll be happy too.

Quest's Shine on is available in Red, White, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Purple. And yes, even though it contains carnuba that is just marketing BS. The polymers do the job.

Ok, so what's the best Triple Foam for color, smell & beading? In yalls opinion...

I use Simoniz for my carnauba wax I - like the shine, beading and foam. Pina Colada is not my favorite scent- I’d prefer a citrus or berry if they had it. It also only comes in yellow/gold of that matters.

I do try out other products from time to time and would given Quest a shot from what I have read on this forum.

For triple foam, I use their red, blue and yellow foam conditioner -cherry. It is more of a soap//cleaner than a protectant and I put it on in the cleaning stages of the wash.

I use Blue Coral. I have tried KR and some other brands but they are not as concentrated and I ended up using more to get the same effect.

Quest also has a trifoam polish called florofoam that is an economical alternative to Shine on, but has more properties than color guard. It beads well, rinses well, and has a raspberry scent.

I think the question for me is what provides the best show AND finished product. The newest polymers made by several mfgs (that often advertise containing carnuba ) are giving a better shine and a slick feel to the surface I don't think you're going to get with lesser polish products or soaps/conditioners. I've had many customers comment that their cars felt hand waxed.

It goes back to that old saying "You get what you paid for".

Greg, I can not raise my prices again, as I have done that 2 yrs in a row + my preppers get tips, & their tips have gone down 2 yrs in a row.
My touchless top pkg is $9, & ends w/ 3x foam, rinse wax/cc, dryer.
Do you think the FloroFoam does a good enough job of Show, smell & beading? I use Shine On, w/ $12 top pkg of SoftGloss as a Lava Wax type, near the end & it works GREAT. But I think it's too pricey to use as my Triple Foams on top pkg of $9.
Your thoughts?
