Hi Guys,
Looking to open up a 24hr unattended car wash in Canada.
What was the best automatic machine at the show in Vegas.
Which one had the most features and capability for the best ROI.

Up until now the best machine I could find was the OASIS Eclipse.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You will get as many answers as machines. Hook up with a goooooood distributor that will make a piece of crap good. Thats all I got to say about that.

The success, or lack thereof, really depends on the location and who installs it, more than who's name is on it. I've seen piece of excrement machines that cost 1/4 of the socalled major players, that outperformed them moneywise by 3 to 4 times. Find soneone relatively close who you can talk to his customers, and an American made unit that YOU can work on. Also check to see that the factory will provide tech support and parts if the dealer goes under or you have a disagreement with. Also be aware that no unattended wash will do as good as one with an owner present at least during busy times. If it was that easy to make money by just planting these around town, the manufacturers wouldn't need you.

Where in Canada? Distributor and repair is more important than machine. Heard many bad things about the Elipse.

Where in Canada, and as mentioned by Bigleo, the distributor and the service you get is critical. It will make you or break you!!! Have you contacted PD Mclaren in Ajax?

If you buy a time-tested machine and one that is simplistic in design and well-built, IMO, the distributor becomes less important.

You may want to lean on the distributor for a couple years, but after that you should know how to replace belts, hoses, gearboxes/motors, as well as diagnose prox switch and ultrasonics problems. My company went out of business and yes I experience some downtime while I diagnose and repair myself, but it is something surmountable.
