BEST DECAL website?

Not looking for the cheapest decal, want a durable decal. VisitaPrint and many similar websites sell cheap decals that look like crap after a short period of time. We repainted the bays. Thinking of eliminating all of the plastic signs and using one simple decal near the meter box with any necessary info. Most signs are ignored anyway but want the basics on a rectangular decal next to the meter box. Customers cannot say they did not see it. I searched Decal on this forum but too many threads to view.

Basic info:

How to use Crypto Pay

A simple sentence on each function.

Be cautious if freezing temps.

Thank you for your business!

I just had my local shop make them. Just customize to your liking, size and colors etc.

Oracal 651 is colored vinyl. Someone here recommended 3M Clear Bra. I order my decals from S. Thomas and have them covered in Lexan which has been very durable.

I used signs.com for a lot of my startup needs. They weren't too bad and I was impressed with their quality. In fact, we needed a temporary road sign so I used a custom sized banner from their website and it looks 100 times better than a lot of places in the local area... total for the banner was $139 /ea side. My husband removed the old flex sign and used self tapping screws and washers and fastened them into the existing frame. Signs.com has my business for life.

We got magnetic signs for our doors too from signs.com and custom surveillance signs to match our colors.

We used a local signwriter to create all our signs. It probably cost a little more, but I've always been really happy with the outcome, and it let us keep a common theme throughout the wash.

Partially true -- one of the colors available is "transparent" as in this offering on amazon.

But regardless of the brand/part#, I strongly recommend putting a clear vinyl over whatever sign stickers you use. I've done it both ways, and clear vinyl on top of the sticker makes it last 100 times longer, retain colors better, and looks better too.

I have a silhouette cutter and do some of my own decals. I get vinyl from a local shop that lets me use their remnants and orders me full rolls with their orders too. 3M makes a nice clear that holds up to any weather. I made a decal for my father in laws jeep out of printed paper and used 3M clear overlay and it's still looks amazing!

We have found that to be true also. Our approach has been the clear adhesive lamination pouches from this outfit: https://www.jhlaminating.com/
Our laser printer will print on polyester paper ... an inkjet printer & regular paper would not be as durable!

For our touchscreens in our dog wash we use an albeit very expensive clear film that the high end sports car specialty shops sell. Light years ahead & better than the "follow the herd" polycarbonate screens that our touchscreen vendor sells as their protective covering solution!

Not only is this "statement" untrue (The clear bra automotive paint protection is good but nowhere near as a commercial product clear laminate) but "light year" is a measure of distance. You would say something is "years ahead" of its competition, but adding "light years" just makes you ignorant.

I have also use S.Thomas & Associates in Dallas. Great peoducts & prices
A LOT of carwash stuff they already have templates.

No offense but we must be using a weee bit different intent of expression usage. Hopefully, we live in a responsible freedom of speech country without too much fear of being unjustly criticized, unnecessarily insulted & being taken out of context! Maybe a better way to respond can be helpful??? Hopefully reading & hearing way beyond just the distorted headlines & initial part of a video clip & within whatever communication environment might help USA citizens at the polling booth?

Read the informal use or "light years" based on the below specific dictionary.

Boy 🤷‍♂️oh boy 😇 oh boy 😢 ... I am not sure if I like being called both a liar & ignorant. Based on our specific experience ... like I said the touchscreen vendor's polycarbonate protector vs the hi end fancy car bra film ... fancy sports car bra film was both more durable & maintained its clear attribute better. Also, maybe you are referring to a different commercial laminate than I am ... our experience is mostly limited to our successful use of https://www.jhlaminating.com/ heaviest duty thickest crystal clear with adhesive laminate pouches used with their own recommended highest end laminator with polyester sheets & laser printing.

I am talking with KR to see if their decal will adhere to cinderblock since their custom meter box decals are great. Otherwise I may try this firm since they promote their decals as good for cinderblock. We shall see.

I can easily give you a list of maybe 50 terms that have been misused into general acceptance. I'll just give one here: nauseous. If you say you're nauseous, you make people around you feel sick. Ignorance has destroyed the original meaning.

If your unit's manufacturer had used a more industrial product, you wouldn't be getting better protection out of car vinyl. I didn't say you're a liar, I'm just saying you're incorrect.

Well thats interesting. Years ago I had thought about a contest where local artists would each paint a bay wall. I didnt do it because I couldnt find (didnt look real hard) a good way to do it. Perhaps this would be a good way to revive that idea.

Prices -- I just typed in 4x6 for the size -- $212. 12' x 4' is $404. Thats not bad, I expected worse.

Anyway - I had also thought about putting stickers directly on to my FRP. I rejected the idea because I wanted to be able to remove/reinstall them when I acid wash the walls. So I go the traditional route and put them on aluminum sign blanks, screwed to the wall with tapcon screws.

We just ordered some 30% off aluminum signs (custom art work from us uploaded) to BuildaSign in austin tx. If we paint we will take them down during the process like we have done before! Acid does not seem to bother the more commercial-industrial artwork it seems.
