Avg Profit Margin from Each Car Wash

Hello All...I always had s kneen fascination with car washes & industry as a whole. This is my first post...Apologies for the lack of knowledge...
But can anybody tell me what is the avg profit margin from each car wash. I'm in NYC & and avg wash here is around $15/with vaccums, etc. Out of the $15...How much is profit...

Net profit for full-service conveyor is generally around 20 percent of gross sales revenue.

If there is no mortgage or debt service, 30 percent is possible if the wash is well managed.

Issue with full-service is labor/mgmt expense often consumes 40 to 50 percent of sales, fully burdened.

So, figure net profit on $15 full-service wash is maybe $3.00, less income tax and obsolescence.

Add to this, NY and NYC is facing legislation for $15 minimum wage whereas average wage is about $10.00.

If regulation is promulgated, operators would most likely increase price.
