Asphalt seal-coating on vac hoses

We are reopening our wash later today after having the asphalt seal-coated yesterday. In the past, for about the first week, we always had issues with the vac hoses getting seal coating on them when being dragged on the ground. We use D-Lemonine to clean them, but usually replace the hoses with new ones after about two weeks. Our number one concern is preventing customers from getting seal coating on their interiors. We thought about pulling the hoses for a few days. What do you guys do?

When did you have the asphalt seal coated? It takes about 72 hours for it to dry to the point that you can drive on it. We pulled all the vac hoses for about 5 days before we felt comfortable putting them back on.

The first coat was done yesterday at about noon and the second coat was at about 3 PM. They said if we really wanted to we could open at noon today but 6 PM would be much better. I know cars will still track it onto the concrete some for a few more days. We are not going to have the striping done until next week so it doesn't get tracked up. Maybe we should wait until tomorrow to open.

I just drive my van on it and it was fine except when I turned my wheels when going slow. Even though I was trying to be careful, it still pulled a little off the top surface. We are going to wait another day to open. That's okay. I have a monster maintenance list to do.
