Anyone using the new CJX Timers

I need to upgrade the timers at one of our locations. We are running a Coleman Hannah 6 Bay with older B & C timers that don't allow for a long enough start time. The new CJX timers will solve our problem but are they reliable?

As far as I'm concerned there is only one display timer and that is Dixmor.

The current doors use a remote display. In order to use Dixmor we would have to replace the entire door.

Does Dixmor have a timer with a remote display that does count up?

Do you have a picture of your doors with the remote display

Please post pic. Ive never seen a Coleman meter box door with remote display. Not saying they didn't make one but only one I seen was some cheap aftermarket one sold on eBay. Either way if dixmor will work for you then you will be very happy you dont got to deal with that b&c garbage anymore.

Defiantly a coleman. I completely forgot thats what they did with the doors that have bill validators with PBC boards because of the timer slot location. It's been awhile.

Unfortunately with those doors your probably stuck using that display if you want to keep your validators.

I recently built 14 new coleman doors with rotary switches to get rid of the PBC boards. The doors themself were about $80 a piece. The timer is mounted above the rotary dial so it does not interfere with the bill validator. You could always go that route and use dixmor timers plus get rid of those PBC boards and keypads. Alot less clutter but obviously a little more costly up front. Will save you future money plus less headaches dealing with the PBC boards.

Etowah Valley can make a replacement door for you. You could go to a reliable rotary switch or push buttons. I’ve never liked the pay phone style touch pad the Coleman used. It made sense when using their codes but for regular customers it just seems very weird.
If you got new faceplates you’d also be able to add TAP, which you’ll be forced to do at some point anyway.

Does GinSan make replacement doors for a lot of other manufacturers?
Yes, sir. At this point I would be confident in saying we done replacements for every manufacturer and most of the different sizes from those manufacturers. If it's a door we've already done, turn around is typically 3-4 weeks. Sometimes it's longer because fussy operators can't make up their mind on graphics ;)

Where are you getting doors done for $80 each?
