Anyone know what’s up with Dan from Xcel?

Hi car wash friends! Do any of you have Dan from Xcel Electronics in Las Vegas fix your Hamilton changers? I’ve used him for a long time and I just sent in a validator for repair a few weeks ago and UPS emailed me that it was undeliverable to that address but that they sent it on to a different address and they didn’t tell me what that address was. I called Dan but all of his phones are disconnected. If anyone has his current contact info I would love you forever if you would help me out here. I sure I hope I didn’t just send a $1,000 validator to the void

Thank you! He has always done the best work for us, I really hope he’s still in business. Hamilton was putting round belts on our validators and they didn’t work well in our climate at all. Dan put flat belts on and they work amazing.

Thank you for sending that link, looks like I’m not the first person to wonder where he went. I’ve always just sent my stuff to him for repair with no phone call as he just likes me to stick a note in the box - so I’m not sure if I'll ever see my validator again. I really wish UPS would’ve just returned it to me rather that forwarding it to a different address. What’s weird as it said the new address was “intentionally omitted”. Wonder why they wouldn’t just tell me where they delivered it? And I’ve never heard of UPS forwarding packed to a new address.

Probably worth trying to call UPS, I would hope they would tell the origination shipper where the package went.

I filed a report asking for the address they delivered to. Hopefully they’ll respond
