anyone else had flex wand problem with threads?

Had a bay freeze up & a gun busted. Son is at the wash while I'm coaching/teaching. He has a BRAND NEW flex wand to put on, & swears the threads are messed up. says he has tried 4 different tips & the threading is off. Has anyone else ever encountered this? If so, what did you do? Just ship back flex wand? Heck, the shipping is same price as the wand!!!

Get a pipe tap and rethread it.

It's more likely he cross-threaded the tip and messed up the threads. It's easy to do if you start the tip with a socket.
