We have a hand wash option at one of our locations and our manager got a new wheel cleaner for the hand wash. It is a non acid wheel cleaner, but says not to use on anodized or polished aluminum wheels. I’ve used many wheel cleaners in the tunnels and self serves over the decades and never a saw a warning like this. It is a high pH product, but I all of the cleaners I have used are high pH and was wondering what the problem with anodized wheels would be, especially since I have never seen that warning before on dozens of other cleaners I have used. And this from a detailer/hand use line of chems.
