airlift door issue

My exit door has an emergency open button. There is a tiny little hose that seems to be there to provide air to make this work. That hose had been slipping off and filling my control box with air (and unfortunately some water too). I put a zip tie on the little hose and it seems to be staying on but the air is all running straight out the exhaust valve. Any idea what may be causing that? I have been cycling that door with every wash because if I don't my bug spray blows out the back door when there is any wind at all. I'm rapidly approaching the time of year where it will be necessary to use both doors all of the time and now the exit door has a steady stream of air coming out of the control box.
Thanks

I think you need a new fitting to hold the hose on.
The valve either has something in it to allow air thru, and can be taken apart and cleaned, or will need replacing if the cleaning doesn't work.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow. I'll try to clean it. It only leaks when the door is up btw.
Thanks

That narrows it down even more to the up valve leaking. The
last time i bought one they were just over $200 if you need one.
