I need to replace one of my air shammee motors and I got a feeling there isn't anything special about the $100+ motor Kleen Rite has advertised for that application. Has anyone figured out which of the cheaper vac motors will work in the air shammee?

I have used the Domel 491.3 motor shown at the bottom of this page to build my own blower:

This motor is taller than the air shammee motor so you need to check if you will be able to install it without too much modification.

6 bay SS w/laundromat
For those of you who are familiar with both the Air Shammie & the Blasto Dry----which can use the "lowest in height motor"? I am hoping I will not have to rewire or change the stainless steel cabinets that I already invested in & have mounted in the bays using the older mid eighties style of blow dry's. Do both brands have vacuum style motors?
