After Wash Quick Wax Products

So I am looking to add a quick hand spray wax after the car exits the wash.
From what I have seen, instead of towel drying the vehicle, some products you just spray right on the paint and wipe dry with remaining water. Thus, I guess saving a step.

Do these products work alright? I don't want a 15-20 min hand wax that might use buffer, two step process, etc...

5-7 minutes is what im looking to complete the work. I was gonna plan to charge $9.95 add on to any wash.

Someone mentioned the Simoniz Body Gloss as a good candidate for this.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,
Eda

Thanks for the feedback.

I checked the Auto Magic Hydra Shine. It states for plastic, chrome and glass. So you put in on 100 % of the car's exterior surface?

I didn't know those types of products go on glass too.

Thanks,
Eda

Eda,

You may want to check with a Blue Coral (Ecolab) supplier to see if the Exterior Supreme program is still available.

I participated in the roll-out of this program about 15 years ago.

The program consisted of a moveable cart containing air compressor, product storage tanks and atomizer used to apply Blue Coral express wax, Rain-X and Black Magic tire shine.

The products are made to commingle. After being sprayed on, product is removed with slightly dampened towels. After the car is washed, the entire process takes about 6 to 8 minutes working in a team of two people.

In the late 1990’s, Blue Coral suggested a retail price of $10 for the service. We sold the heck out of it for $19.95.

You may also want to contact Bud Abraham with Detail Plus. I believe that Bud has an economical clone of this system.
