You can buff or replace the lexan face. If need be by a clear PVC pipe from McMaster Carr and replace tubes but before you do that buy a cheap color flashing LED tape and some colored see thru pencil cases at an office depot type store. Cut the cases. Make cylinders, place inside tubes. Make 3-5 coils of tape and insert in each cylinder. Where old light got power attach female extension cord receptacle. Plug in LED light strip program as desired. No more PITA fluids and air pumps. LED strip lasts year. If it goes bad plug in another.

Note, I think if you line the tube with the colored plastic just use the white LED otherwise the colors from the LED bleed thru

Earl, are using the Original JC timer? I hear those sick?
What kind of cylinders & LED lights (cored or not)?

I use the original timers. B& C repairs them. I have gotten good service life from them. For cylinders I usd clear plstic pipe - I think it's 2" from Mc Master Carr. LED I just use this type. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HD37U6...t=&hvlocphy=9021475&hvtargid=pla-350962070381
Just make about 6 coils around my hnd, stuff it in a tube, another 6 coils for net andso on for the 16 Feet.

You likley do not need new tubes since thy do not need to be very clear and you are going to put a cylinder of color plastic inside it anyway.

FWIW on the inside I hook up a Female Plug inside the unit. When the LED's go out after a few year I unplug the old and plug in the new.
