We actually use the Yellow/Amber reflectors, since they go better with our color scheme; but I've found that people feel intimidated with the rails, sometimes drive over them, and are not comfortable going between the rails. It's a personal decision that we made. I know many others use the rails.
ahhh okay totally understandable as I am also battling with this question as well.... its just wouldn't the rails help protect the machine though so no one accidentally bumps into it?

Sure, you could consider that. But when we have stupid drivers who are too far over to the left or right and then complain that the wash told them to leave, we just tell them it's Driver Error, since the instructions do say Center Your Vehicle...... They either can't drive or can't read, and many operators will tell you they get idiots like this all the time. There are lots of threads here on idiotic customers and they're a real hoot to read because we've all had them.

haha okay very understandable! thanks for all the help! one more thing is how do the customers contact you if an issue arise (meaning do you have a sign that has your phone number on it for complaints or how do you advertise your number so customers can relay their issues to you if anything arises)

I have my # posted as I want to know if there is a problem. Funny thing is I know when they are off centered and I turn it back on for them when they don't even call. I had one guy leave the Profile after he was offsides and it kicked him out and pull in the Razor bay and I turned it on as he was pulling up. He had never even called. I bet he is still scratching his head on how the other machine turned on for him.

We have a big decal on the Equipment Room Door that says: In Case of Emergency Call.......... The number is also on the printed receipts from the pay station.

So far so good. People really love it. Right now it's about 60% choosing the profile 40% staying with the touch-free. My only complaint is once or twice a day I get a call when someone's off sides the machine will shut down and I have to restart it for them. Other than that it is very good machine.
