All,

The Wheel Brightners (acid) I use seems to always eat my spray bottle nozzles. I mix the stuff at 8:1, but still, they don't last. The plastics are ok?it must eat the ?O? rings. What do you guys use that lasts? I was thinking of getting a sprayer tank (like this one http://www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-5001-3-gallon-pds-stainless-steel-tank-sprayer.aspx ), but I'm afraid I'll get the same result and trash a $170 tank).

have you tried the acid sprayer carried by dultmeier? part number sx20a

I use it for wall cleaner, not for daily use, but have had it for over a year.

I use a deck finish sprayer from Home Depot (In the paint department) for all sorts of cleaners, and they usually last a long time. All the seals and o-rings are Viton. It's the all black plastic one, don't recall the brand.

Buy the ACE brand all-plastic pump-up sprayer. It's what I use and couldn't be happier.

$170 for a sprayer? Forget that!

The acid eats the seals within the sprayers. You have a few options to help with this. First like Mep said go with viton products. You can get both chemical resistant sprayers and tank sprayers with viton seals. They will not last forever but they should last longer. I have customers that have each employee spray water through their sprayer at the end of the day to flush out any chemicals used. This keeps the products from drying or damaging the sprayers overnight. Make sure the tank sprayer not only has chemical resistant seals in the pump but also in the gun. Based on cost really comes down to how many sprayers can you go through in the amount of time a tank sprayer will last?

This is the most popular viton chemical sprayer to my customers using acid.

This is a tank sprayer with viton seals that I have ordered at customer requests.

If you can't find something that works for you let me know and I will see what I can do.
