I changed my high and low pressure seals and all valves in my 4 pumps. I swear they seem louder now, almost like a knocking sound. They are working fine though. Anyone encountered this and should I be concerned?

Why did you change the valves? You generally only need to change the o-rings and backup rings on them.

I've seen with General pumps the valve springs were too strong and made the pump clatter and not make full pressure, but never on a Cat.

Reckon I change them because I did not know any better. I had one pump with low pressure. I rebuilt them all because I was not sure when the last time they had been done.

A knocking sounds could be caused by a inlet water restriction. Make sure you are not cavitataing and the water inlet is not restricted more than necessary to draw chemicals. Cat pumps are very reliable- I would not change seals on a pump without symptoms. I've got thirteen year old pumps that probably haven't even had their oil changed.
