2023 Hyundai Tucson, loose C pillar trim

heads up on the 2023 Hyundai Tuscon for loose c- pillar trim that likes to peel back and bend during normal touchfree car wash operation. A quick Google search shows several different websites with several different posts where customers with this car experience this improperly secured trim, causing the trim to become detached from the vehicle from things like highway driving!

had one today. customer already threatening legal action, bbb involvement, one star review, frowny faces galore and saying her dad can beat up my dad.

If highway airflow and a touchless wash can both remove the trim, this sounds more like a vehicle design problem than a car wash problem.

If the recall was never performed, that’s really on the owner at this point.
And if the trim still comes off even after the recall repair, I honestly don’t see how car washes are supposed to take responsibility for that.

Has anyone seen reports of these trims still flying off at highway speeds even after the recall fix?
