2012 Tahoe rear corner falls off

There is a rear corner panel that is in the gap from the rear fender to the back window. It's about 12" Tall and 5 inches wide with a taper.

Comes off in the tunnel. Panel is in perfect shape. None of the clips or eyelets appear damaged. Only issue are some paint chips from where it hit the floor.

No similar incidents in tunnel with 100s of thousands of vehicles washed and over 50K since last equipment change which is addittion of new wraps.

You tell the customer...........

"So Sorry Miss/Sir. I'd be happy to have my bodyshop (the one your wash works with) reinstall it properly. Here is their #. Tell them Calypso Dave sent you."

Is it the wrap or rocker doing it?
We had a similar issue a couple of years ago on our AVW wraps. Cloth was a little worn but looked good.
We adjusted the tension and installed new cloth on the bottom of the wrap.
Not sure which was the problem but it stopped.

Most likely the wrap. Too High for a rocker. It's the rear corner piece up to the roof. IMO it's a vehicle issue. 3-4 in 2 years, at 2 locations, only this make / Model; GMC / Tahoe, only this part. No mechanical fasteners, no adhesives. Plastic part has plastic fingers and nubs that go into body slots on one side and other side part on body has fingers / nubs that hook behind this part. Apparently the plastic spring tension is what is supposed to keep it in place. When driver came in He pulled of this part and I tried the other side by giving a hard tug. It would not come off. Put adhesive on nubs Put it back on and taped in place. Told him to remove tape after one day. Can't help but think design is bad and slamming lift gate over time may loosen it.
