We also have the Hamilton app for 5 years or so. Customers take a few minutes to download the app and enter their credit card and choose a wash club. The scanner works great and I could not imagine running my washes without it. The windows 10 DAN computer doesn’t like internet outages or blips...

$4,700 is the basic cost that includes the door. If you need a new controller or voice chip that’s more. Yes I believe you need a new door. They layout has changed substantially with the addition of another green button, they also moved the QR code scanner up which is in a much bettter place.

Update. You do need to use the hamilton handheld to do more of the install. I also learned you need the handheld to get revenue reports now. The red buttons on the controller do nothing. The customer receipts are more detailed and show the users credit card information In smaller type.

It isn’t quicker to process as far as I can tell, it is slower. I dont know how you can get quicker then a mag stripe. You really need a new updated voice module with this upgrade, not included. They add many more voice prompts to help the customer. I also added push the green button in the...

I ordered two a while ago. Suppose to get them real soon. I have been running IDTECH readers in my Bays since 10/23. They work well. Slow transaction time for the self serve tho, but the customers love the Convenience of paying with your phone.
