I 100% agree you should take both tokens & quarters. I just am not giving quarters out anymore. I had a few complain but I made more than so I too didn’t pay much attention. I pretty much still take $1000 in quarters to the bank every month.

Dollar tokens fixed it for me. I really don’t see any downside other than maybe having to get the right coin acceptors. I only dispense tokens. My bays take tokens & quarters, the vacuums & vending are token only. If I got another wash it would be the first thing I did.

Here is a picture of. Single block thickness, other side is the pump room. When I said feel it move it’s not rocking back & forth. You can beat on it with you fist & there is a quite noticeable change in sound.

I’m hoping for 6/8000 washes per year. I’d like to think that in 7 years I’d have either sold or leased the wash at that point but who really knows.

I’m going to get someone out to look at the wall & see what they say.

I don’t but I have a crack that runs floor to ceiling. You can almost feel it move when you push against it. The guys that came & looked at it didn’t feel comfortable mounting it on it & honestly I don’t either.

In the process of getting a new Razor. My walls are a little suspect in a few places so I’m opting for a frame. I understand stainless lasts forever, how long for the powder coated? Like everything this is snowballing on the price.

I too am running old Futura pump stand from 97. They have been out of business for years but after an initial overhaul (valves, fittings, new hoses) due to definite lack of maintenance. They have been running pretty well for the last 3 years. Much cheaper than installing new equipment as well.

I think having multiple cars waiting to enter isn’t going to be a huge issue at my location. Does that sway the opinion any?

What is the consensus on dryers? Mine are going to have to go in bay for noise reasons. Bay is roughly 50’ long. So free standing inside the exit door or machine mounted to the Razor? I understand the extra weight but is it wearing things out much faster?

Have a Futura SSA that is going to be replaced. Was down for 8-10 years before we got the wash. Bay had closed doors so machine itself is in pretty good condition. I had it running for a few months but it developed as communication issue. Would be good for parts or rehab if interested. $1500...

We are getting a quote for a Razor. Should have it by Tuesday. If we end up going with the Xr7 it will have the Spectraray package.

I believe we’re going to pull the trigger. I don’t think I can swing a decked out double barrel though lol. How about an upgraded XR7??
