    Mosmatic Comfort Hose

Are you using them for LP also? What are you using for a swivel saver hose? Soapy did say it's rare for the weep to freeze but I have 20 bays. Increases the likelihood 5x over just a 4 bay wash. I assumed the ends were stainless steel. Guess I was wrong. How quick from your experience do you...

Crypto Swipers with Tap Plus install?

Talked to cryptopay about this a month or so ago. It seems like they offer but dont have much support behind it or push it which is why most dont know about it. There solutions for fleet cards is to send you a QR code on a "sticker" and you can attach that to any fleet card you have or some...

Unexpectedly high water bill, has anyone seen meter over report due to air in the line?

Also I believe the only way air can get into the lines is through repairs. It's not like anything is injecting air into your water supply constantly. If you ever do any plumbing work something as simple as installing a faucet air gets in the line. Once you turn the water back on and open the...

    Mosmatic Comfort Hose

Thanks for feed back guys. Soapy made a really good point about weep and the kinking. I did not even think about that. Im probably going to just keep doing what ive been doing. I do not want to take that risk. There is nothing I hate more than unthawing a bay in the winter. The light weight is...

    Mosmatic Comfort Hose

Anyone use mosmatic comfort hose? Do you like them and do they last? Do they get kinked at the radius? Curious about these. Im currently using Parker 387TC and Parker Push Lock for FB and TF. The push lock hose kinks in the radius after about a year or so. The 387TC lasts me about a year or so...

Make sure the hose sits in the middle of the radius where the energy chain bends while the machine is in the home position. If its too long or too short it will cause it to wear out prematurely. Also use good hose. Parker 387 ST seems to last the longest for me. I usually get around 12 months...

Unexpectedly high water bill, has anyone seen meter over report due to air in the line?

I cant imagine air in the water being that big of an issue or even a issue. If it was and accounted for a significant amount of meter charges I would think every city water department would be sued and would be the scandal of a life time.

    Home built air dryer.

Now that you mention that which ive had to do before. The crevice claws nozzle from mr nozzle would probably do a great job. It has the same fan type nozzle as the premier gun dryers and will fit in their nozzle holders perfectly. Not as solidly built at all but would work good in a pinch...

Igus is the brand of the energy chain which is the black moving track connected to your machine that rolls back and forth and carries all the hoses from the backroom to the machine. The v roller assembly is made up of an axle, bearings, and the actual v roller. Most of the time it's the...

Whats the best new self serve equipment to install?

IMO Jim Coleman makes the best self serve pump stand out there. Solid built, easy to work on, and reliable.

Does wash counts matter yes but it's more about the maintenance the machine received and will receive over the counts. I have a wash with over 150K washes on it and I could still probably get another 10 years out of it without a problem. On the XP your wearable/moving parts are going to be the...

    Crypto pay vacuum issue

The swiper when not used is scrolling rainbow colors. Once you swipe it turns blue to authorize then either red if declined or green if approved. Once approved it sends pulses to your timer so no you should not have to push the button to start the vacuum. Swiper sounds bad.

    On board vs Freestanding dryers

Free standing all day everyday. There is no reason to put the extra wear of weight and passes on a machine plus the difficulty of working on them. Power cables in a igus wear out unlike stationary runs . The most important is throughput. When you say "I think multiple cars entering won't be an...

    Midwest Slow Right Now?

Its has been dead here in Michigan last 2-3 weeks. High heat, rain, and overcast. I hate it because obviously not making much money but at the same time its nice to have a little break from busy days and customer chaos. Go in for only few hours then head home. Makes me feel like im in a passive...

    Credit card pricing

It’s not the same though. I explain that exact scenario when I get calls about pre auth charges. We’re like a gas station we don’t know how much your going to spend but we pre authorize you for a certain amount. However our CC charges don’t stop when someone releases the trigger on the gun and...

    Home built air dryer.

The premier guns have a fan nozzle. Ive never used an air logic one but when I first installed the dryers I had just the regular air shammee nozzles that was maybe a 1 1/2" open hole and they were terrible. I ended up buying the fan nozzle for them a few days later and it helped a lot but that...

    Home built air dryer.

I switched from air shammee to premier and what a difference. The flow is so much stronger. Customers love them and they are a 1/3 of the price of air shamme and air logic. For $38 a piece I keep at least 3 extras at each location just to have in stock incase one gets ran over or abused.

    Old Super Wash

Great job Our Town. I love how the American Flag stayed up the entire time until the new flag pole was installed. I wish this forum had a before and after section to show a wash remodel or auto remodel. That would be pretty cool. They could title it Where we started vs. Where were at!

    Coleman Hanna E-Fusion

My machine is extended height and extended width. It can wash sprinters and duallys. Your bay probably is not tall enough but you may be wide enough for an extended width machine. The extra width along with the stainless steel led guide rails is probably why I dont have any issues with people...
