Roz, that’s pretty cool! I didn’t know that about Tesla. A very high maintenance old woman was wiping off her Mercedes after she went through the TF. She started complaining about some soap that was oozing out of her door jamb. I asked her what she thought about me installing a soft touch. She...
Tuesday I will own my second wash. It has a hydro spray rainmaker. Does anyone know how much water those use per wash? Are the new razors and petits worth the money in water savings alone? It looks like my Futura uses about 85 gallons on an suv. I think it was a Toyota four runner.
The reason I...
I have one that is used for the auto. It has a float for the well with a cycle stop valve. There’s a backup float switch going to a city water solenoid. I’ve been thinking about how to hook it up to the ss bays.
I was getting a haircut and one of the stylist said “ I saw two scratches on my car. I don’t know where they came from. It HAD to be the carwash.”
It was at that moment I decided, no friction washes for me.
No. This happened at a new wash. His truck is a 2019. They paid for damages. He said it was really loud when he went through and he knew it wasn’t going to be pretty.
SCRATCHLESS AUTOMATIC
$1 VACS
My cousin sent me pictures of his scratched up black truck from the local unlimited deal. TOUCHLESS just doesn’t get the point across. Don’t take offense if you have a machine with brushes. I’m just trying to help out our niche.
Thanks! And I totally agree with you. Speed is the only thing I’m not concerned about. Both of my locations are in small towns. I’m impressed with the Hydro Spray as far as the cleaning goes. The rotating spray arms seem like they’d be more forgiving in the event of a clogged nozzle, compared to...
Hi there!
The new wash I should be getting next month is equipped with a Rainmaker. I’m used to the Futura revolution and I really like it. I recently bought two extra ones and was thinking about installing one in place of the Hydro Spray. The old wash has a well and the new one doesn’t. I’ve...
Thanks! This is great information. The cars look worse now that I’ve hooked everything back up that the previous owner disconnected. The foot valve wasn’t in the Rainx. The wires to the hp detergent solenoid were unhooked. The hydrominder wasn’t pulling any clear coat protectant. And the presoak...
Futura SSA. The Rainx is delivered via a flojet pump. Do you think that pump will handle the low ph? That stuff is nasty. I’ll need to make a new sign as my top package is $11, $2 higher only because of Rainx. I’m not sure how to go about it.
How many years of trial and error did it take you to figure this out? I am losing my mind trying to get cars clean. I constantly change passes and speeds. When you apply low ph, is it straight out of a hydrominder tank ? Mine is applied through the high pressure pass, like 30gpm of water mixed...
This would be great for my touchless but the car wash seems to double as a bus stop. Kids punching the buttons on the pay station while waiting on the bus. It makes me wonder about the liability issue if a kid would fall in the drum.
Mine was never changed prior, it couldn’t have been. I pulled the plug and put my finger in the fill hole (minds out of gutter please lol) and fingered out coagulated lumps through the drain hole.
I thought about keeping my job when I bought mine last year. I would check the cameras at the wash from work quite often. Three hours into a 10 hour shift, you check the cameras and see a muddy mess and trash all over the place. Well, in about eight ours I’ll have that cleaned up! No worries...
