Hello. On my Rainmaker I think I’m getting wax spots. The water on the hood and windshield is either thick and filmy, or it beads up and waxy spots are left when the wax is on. I can’t seem to find an in between.
The sides seem fine. Could this be that the top nozzles are too far away? What’s...
Hey I was thinking about painting some yellow lines for people to gauge their vehicle’s width. I don’t know how wide mine are. So a sign would be useless unless you have a tape measure handy. What have you all done to prevent wider ones from scratching their wheels ?
The high ph hose going to the hydrominder turned brown and brittle to the point it cracked. So I’m trying something ignorant,as usual. I took a high pressure hose and screwed a SS check valve into it for a foot valve. The other end I used a 3/8-1/4 reducer and threaded it into the fitting where...
This is great stuff! Thanks so much! Today I’ve learned that check valves at the nozzles can cause an imbalance. I’m taking them out in between customers.
Hi there!
I’m trying to add air assist to my PS to cut costs and maybe help it cling to the vehicles. Last year I put adjustable nozzles on it to lightly mist it on, but it’s too touchy.
Last week I cobbled some old parts together, because poverty . And it seems like I need to change the...
I tried to fire up the hydro spray today after being off due to freezing weather. The pump has been dripping a little. I turned it on today and it just poured out water. Something in the main line is frozen, so that probably finished it off. So is that low pressure seals? I have two other used...
I bought several new gauges that hang up like that. It’s just poor quality.
When the hp wobblers are on, my whole gantry rocks side to side. Nothing rocks on ps. Are your wheel bearings shot? That plus the rocking could be moving the elevator bolts too far away from the prox switch on the wheel...
Those look like what would sense the elevator bolts that are attached to the nylon wheel. I’ll take a picture tomorrow if I think about it. I don’t see how you’re saving any money by guessing and not calling the guys that deal with this old equipment.
I was getting the same thing on mine. I have a treadle sensor mounted under the guide rail. It sticks out a little bit and when people would scrub the rail, the sensor would drop down a little (oblong mounting hole) and that must’ve made the sensor a little too low to detect the the vehicle. It...
I like the parking bumpers! Am currently installing a used machine and don’t really want to put the rusty used guides on. Where did you get those? If you were to do it again, would you use these? Thanks
