1 wash says (Nayax vend, followed by my business name) other says (auto car wash). I think Nayax always starts out showing nayax vend Hunt Valley MD until you request a change. My very 1st vpos at a wash showed (candy vend) needless to say I instantly had customers questioning that. When you...
I will probably change my luck by stating this but in 32 years I have never had a coin box or bill validator broken into in any of my washes. I do notice that customers in general are less respectful of bays, wands, and vacs compared to when I started in this business.
SEVERE eyebrows( those stubborn ones that have been there for a while) are difficult even with a friction wash. We have had good luck with low ph 1st pass and also with bug off type chemicals in the past. We can make the sides, top, and windshield area where the wipers have covered look great...
Thanks Eric. I did look at that and everything works and reads/ voice correctly. It definitely does think stop has been triggered so it is shutting off. I may try switching the position switch and will look over the wiring again. Thanks again for your response.
I have a bay that count up mode stops at my coin time, $4.50. In setup mode I am supposed to enter none on 2nd card time to activate count up, which I did. Max time is $20. After swiping card and count up mode starts, timer displays "stops at $4.50". Any suggestions?
Thanks
My guess would put expenses in just above 20k. I can give you a positive take...my self service bays are doing better than ever, and have been on an upswing for several years now. Same with the inbay touchless. Both can thrive in the right areas.
Enjoy the business!
In a tunnel instance I would guess it means you could use 4 IPB-34 (12 button) push button stations and 1 keypad to control different functions along the tunnel without going back to the main controller. Plugged in in any order.
After trade school I was a painter in an automotive body shop, and after a couple years I started my own shop back home, while joining my father on the family farm, and did both for several years. The car wash bug hit me at the age of 28.
If I could have committed to the time involved I would...
I have washes in similar size towns. His wash should have better numbers than that, and it may be that it does. Credit card acceptance, dryers, and raising price would be on my list right after cleaning/lighting/cosmetics to showcase new ownership. Good luck if you purchase.
I have, for the most part, a very good customer base. I started having trash/dumping issues at my vacuum areas so I removed my trash cans. Occasionally I will have someone leave a mess by a vacuum or in the corner of a self service bay. Ten years ago I never had these issues. Times and people...
I'll join Sooner in an old thread. Lot's to consider when updating or replacing equipment. You location and market can steer you in the correct direction.
For instance, I have washes in smaller rural locations, where I do/could charge $15/$20 for a wash that takes 6 minutes. Time and price are...
I put a cone in front of one of my self service bays so I could replace a couple fittings in the equipment room. Just as I was going to remove a connection the bay pump turned on. I walked out to see a young man washing his pickup. I said "hey you ran over my cone that I had blocking this bay...
Thanks! It's a slow work in progress.
Hopefully someone on here has an answer for you. Is it only on the $5 wash?
There has to be some combination that sets off the refund and allows a wash to trigger.
I had that same problem but it was a long time back. If I remember I had to go into the autocashier settings and change settings for the new reader. I gave free washes for a day without knowing until loyal customers let me know.
