I think the plan was for the 5CP to replace the 310. I think they got pushback for planning to drop the 310 and ended up keeping it around. The 5CP is definitely easier to work on, but the 310 is more durable. Just my 2¢

Diaphragm usually fixes it. You can replace the whole stem kit if you want, but probably not necessary. These are parts you need to have on hand, so order a stem kit and a few diaphragms.
I've never owned a conveyor wash, but in the car wash world, 25 degrees is nothing. Heck, they have conveyors in Canada. Who knows how cold the temp must get before they shut down.
I've always wondered why that area was always so far behind the rest of the country in pricing. Maybe they should keep the prices down there and give away a bunch of stuff like the express washes.
That's always the most accessible side, since the truck picks it up from that side. I had dumpsters like that at all of my washes over a 50 year stretch and never had one do that.

I had dumpsters like that, but some of the front wheels were attached like outriggers, and were about 6-8" ahead of the front of the dumpster. Apparently, you are not the only one this has happened to.

That looks like part of the valve itself. There is probably two of those valves in your backflow preventer. If that one is intact, that debris is probably part of the other one.
SS/IBA went through a building boom around the turn of the century. Probably nowhere near as bad as the Express is now, but a lot of the washes should never have been built. That's pretty much why it's so easy to find and buy an existing wash now. I think the tide is slowly starting to turn on...
Agreed. As soon as someone mentions drill bits, we know that they don't know how. One of the techs for my former distributor, (who had drilled out numerous locks during his tenure there), called me and asked how I got into them so quickly.
Oh, I know. I now live in the Evansville, IN area. I can stand at the intersection of Burkhardt and Lloyd and see a new tunnel a few hundred yards down Lloyd. Turn my head and see a new short tunnel a block up Burkhardt, and an IBA in between. The tunnels both opened in 2023.

That is a phenomenal number. Whatever you do, don't give out your location. You are a sitting duck to have an express wash dropped into your lap...maybe more than one.

Keep in mind that many motors have sealed bearings, and greasing them does nothing. I had a friend that greased his often, until the grease accumulated enough to get inside the motor and cause problems.
