Adding hot water should increase the effectivness of your chemicals. I would check for other issues like hard water or clogged tips to solve your problem.

I don't think you really want to have your guns turn off every time you let go of the trigger. Most setups use a flow switch to activate a timer which turns the guns on and then shuts them off after a short period of time.
