I have a four-bay and kept buying cheap warehouse units. They would last a year and give out. I purchased a Rolair and it's been going strong for two years. Mines 115V.

I had this same issue when I refurbished my wash in 2018. I am also two hours away from my wash and was heading over every 3 days. Not good. Credit cards took the pressure off the vaults and increased my revenue very nicely. Now I only go over once a week. Nice problem to have I must say.
I was having the same issues years ago. I did a quick test and added a 1/4 cup of raw chemical to the tank to confirm it was my mixture. Curls of thick foam came out. I increased my tip size and it's been fine ever since.
I had an idea while traveling through Yellowstone seeing bear-proof trash cans all over the place. Why not build some for my self-serve wash. I've had issues with people digging for cans, spreading trash, and pouring out old soda cans all over my floors. It's been 3 weeks since installing these...
At my wash, I have the privilege to have them right across the street from my wash. The captain gave me his cell number. I can call him anytime. I've often seen things on cameras, called it in, and watched it unfold on the live feed. I know I'm one of the lucky ones. You must get to know them...
We also use Cryptopay with swipers and Tap. The overall system is easy to use and have never had a problem for 5 years now. The reporting tools are simple but very powerful.
The only chemical I use that has worked is 596-B Aluminum brightener. It costs about $75 bucks for 5 gallons. Makes my dirty vinyl very white. The key is not to let it get too bad. Always wear proper protection as well.
I would put my money on the liquid solenoid for that bay. Use a screwdriver to check if it magnetized when turned on. That will check if it's getting power. Then take it apart and clean it. I just replace the entire bank when one goes bad.
I have a 4 bay Wash located in Central Oregon. I do 98% of maintenance and new equipment installs my self. I wish to hire out a new triple foam system due to back issues and can't find any company's in my area. Anyone in Oregon/Washington have any leads? All I've found is one out of Portland and...
I had this problem last year. We have Dixmor 6 timers with Crytopay. I had to disconnect the pulse wire from the swiper and it resets itself. It's my understanding it's the pulse circuit causing the error code. It was on mine.
I have both DYI and regular customers. A few nights ago I pulled up the cameras at the right time and saw a car pull into the bay. He opened his trunk and pulled a garden hose out. Then proceeded to hook up to my outside faucet and use needle nose plyers to turn it on. Filled his bucket with...
I have one bay the reset button is popping. This suddenly just started happening. Can anyone tell me what to look for or why this may be happening? I can reset it then 4-5 hours later it happens again. Thanks
I just replaced two Cat 310's at my wash. They only lasted 29 years each with minimal or no maintenance before I bought the place 2018. I would consider that a win in my books. That's my vote... Randy is spot on.....
