i'm installing credit card Swiper's on my IVS vacuums. They are the old-school ones with no display. I'm leaning towards putting the box for the Swipers on the right hand side of the coin box area. What are your thoughts on this? Do you have pictures you could share of your vacuums with a Swiper...
I'd ask for 3 years tax returns to verify income. I'd ask to see the computer interface on the touchfree to get the actual car counts and a breakdown of the packages. I'd go there on an off-peak time and take a buncha pics and post them here for us to look at. We can give advice based on what...
I always wonder how people get anything else accomplished in their lives if they can't operate the car wash controls or the credit card Swiper. How do they balance their checkbook? Keep their kitchen and bathroom clean? Handle their finances and save for their retirement? Handle home repairs...
I would probably look at each location individually to determine the correct price to pay for it. At first glance the revenue looks fairly low. You have to look at three years of tax returns and use them to gauge revenue versus price. It's not like all the revenue coming from one location, where...
I had a severe chatter on my Arimitsu pump a few weeks ago. I went online and found the troubleshooting guide from Arimitsu, which was very helpful. After cleaning the valves a few different times, I rigged up a garden hose to a three-quarter inch ( i think) nipple which I screwed into the inlet...
I was in the detail shop today when I saw a red Kia soul pull up. I have a friend with the identical car so I was looking forward to a nice friendly chat. Instead, a woman walked in and explained that my car wash damaged her car. My automatic is a three-year-old razor. I said OK and walked out...
what is your competition like? Is your wash on a fairly busy street with good visibility from the road? Is the egress good or bad? Maybe send some pictures of your wash so we can give you some input based on our experience. Is your chemistry dialed in for maximum show and effectiveness? Is the...
isnt that something you hire a civil engineer for? i spent a significant amount of money on my plans. I think i'm a fairly helpful guy, but i'm not real eager to make copies of detailed architectural drawings and share them freely.
article is kinda generic; like they spent 5 minutes researching on google, added info about a $7.99 costco wash , then said it'll scratch your car and isn't a great value compared to carwashes with a membership program.
zero benefit for costco and lower credibility for the car wash business as...
what was the problem and what fixed it? your original post was very vague and you never mentioned the actual problem. part of what makes this forum useful is having a collective knowledge base that contributes advice and instruction to aid others in repairing the equipment we all use to make...
i have that setup coupled to a newer razor wash. goldline is 20 yeas old and works flawlessly. i've had a few components go bad over the years, but all repairs were easy and straightforward.
another potential downside is the new owner not paying and then you having to take back the property in whatever condition it is in. If they default, the property will likely be run down. I think I would prefer getting all the money up front. But that's just my preference.
