Not trying to be an ahole. But you have time to count the coins and bills from each unit? and compare them to a counter? Maybe I'm the idiot for not doing it.
I'm pretty sure the PDQ L4000 is the same as my WW HV. I've replaced both the low pressure pump and the gear box. About $1500 for the parts from WW. ( labor is free since I'm the mechanic). You have to do the math if the ROI is worth buying a new unit or fixing the one you have.
Wash quality seems to be good, I really don't get any complaints. I run my wife's white SUV through and do a towel test after and no dirt is present on the towel. I was just wondering if anyone else had a WWHV what there coverage looks like?
Thanks for your time.
Just wanting opinions on the coverage/foam quality for my WW HV. Using KleenRite 1B and 2A with MC Liquid.. Water heater at 135F, soak 20 seconds then rinse. Here is a picture of the wash after the last coat?
I use Kleenrite Kleen Track 2A, then Kleen track 1B with Simoniz MC liquid to boost it. Spraying at 135F off the heater, nice coating on the car without too much foam and the customers like the smell. Now this is on a 16 year old WW HV unit and I really never get a customer complain about the...
Trying to connect Crypto pay to the IVS Carpet Wizard and when I plug in the Crypto or coin mech IDX MA-800 MultiCeptor I get Out of Service. With just the Bill acceptor it works fine? Any ideas. I did the IVS FRESH N UP yesterday and it works fine. Same MULTICEPTOR, TIMER, ETC...

That's awesome. I hope to see the same results.. The wash has been around for 16 plus years and I have owned it 5 years. I added crypto to my bays last year and they have done great. I will advertise that we now have them on the vacs next week.
One thing do you see a customer having to swipe...
Thanks Damoni88.
I set up the first of four yesterday. It was a IVS Fresh-n-up. So I set it up for $3.00 for 6 min and they can press the button twice for a max of $5.00 for 10 min. I doubt anyone ever hits the button to add time. So if needed I will just increase to $4.00 - 8min.
I'm thinking...
Thanks for the input. But I have to add them, most people nowadays will pay for a soda at a convienece store with a credit card $1.50. They carry no cash. So I will probably try the $3.00 for 6 min on the basic vac and they can push it twice ( i doubt they will) if all goes well i will increase...
Just got swipers for my vacuums. Here is the issue. I have two IVS vacs ( one with fragrance and the other with carpet cleaner) and two older basic IVS vacs. The first two have I believe IDX Big time timers and the last two basic timers.
So for the very basic ones, right now $2.00 to start for...
Sorry if this has been asked before.. but a basic American coin hopper for quarters, how many should fill it? The number on the hopper is ACC Hopper V3 1-C01-0806-2817.
Thanks...
Bought mine also in 2015. 6,8,10,12.. Decided on 8,10,12,14. Will change this week and Let's see what happens. Didn't want to remove a wash and have to change all the signage. PITA. so I'll keep 4 .
Thanks. I'm thinking ( raising $2.00 per wash) $14, $12,$10 and $8.00. With the older WW HV I can only offer a few options. I just did add the dryer to the bottom wash, so I might have to keep it. Since people now expect it? And most people don't choose it anyway..
Pollen time is coming here...
I have a nice 2 Bay SS and a IBA ( older WW HV ) nice Simonize soaps, Triple Foam, Dryers, etc.. The prices have been the same since I bought the location over 5 years ago. Right now the top wash is 12 then 10, 8 and 6. Thinking about raising the prices? Closest tunnel is 5 miles away and top...
