😅 Those old boards are hard to find! Thomas, can't believe it was a fuse, or that we both overlooked it. First rule in troubleshooting is KISS. Keep it simple!

The 16367-003 boards are still available. The current revision is rev E. I don't have the pricing, but our parts team can help you with that. Their # is 800-283-7956.

It's possible the transformer is providing too much voltage. It's pretty standard that most electronic components should work + = 10%, so that would put it on the edge. That LED light should also illuminate if you press that test switch.

If you have 120VAC going into the transformer, the output of that transformer should be 8VAC, and that connects to the terminals in the lower right corner of the sign. With power applied, it should come up with Ryko MFG, then try to display message 0 by default. Pressing the test switch on the...

    Ryko - Max5 - 1480 Error code

Usually when this happens, you will see a 4 digit code of 1480 and a sequence of 0102 (vehicle profile) and that is followed by a 4 digit 1004 code with a 0085 sequence (wash forward). If it doesn't see that vehicle going forward soon enough, that's when it will flag the vehicle left early 1004...

    Ryko - Max5 - 1480 Error code

Agree with all the comments above. As the machine travels front to rear, it is looking to count each tire. If the tire finder photoeyes can see through the wheels of the car, they may not count correctly. Ideally, if your bay is relatively flat (1/8" per foot fall to center), you want the...

    Ryko CMD

On the older US2001 gantry machines, here are the outputs that would have driven the CMD sign: 126 would be your 25VAC hot, and 25 would be your neutral. There would be 120VAC going to the CMD sign using wires 99 (hot), and 90 (neutral). The green/red lights would also be 120VAC, and those...

After you get the bolt head off, the cover should be able to come loose. Once that's out of the way, just grind the flange of the rivet nut off too, then use a punch to knock it loose.

    Old Ryko Stuff

I hadn't seen those old ads in years! With the address on Dean Ave, those were pre 1983 when we moved in to the building we are today.

For the bolts securing the back panel to the CMD weldment, I would recommend using a cutoff wheel on a grinder to pop the heads off. Once those are loose, the back should come off, and you will probably need to grind the flanges off too to get the rivet nuts to pop out. You can try TriFlow...

The 2 digit code 14 indicates there is an issue with either the front or rear endstop as I had mentioned above. I suspect that one of them is likely shorting out where the input is coming on where it shouldn't. I would drive the machine away from the end of the track, then have someone look at...

On the wall, you should have a gray box called a Remote Communications Interface. It's about 10x12". The older machines had one with a small window that houses a red 2 digit LED display inside. On the newer machines, these Remote Comm boxes have a touchscreen display. For the older style...

On a Softgloss, the machine is at home position when it is at the exit end of the bay with the machine almost touching the endstop bumpers. If the machine is older, you probably have the physical bayplates. After the machine is armed and a vehicle pulls in and onto the bayplates, that should...

    Air Cylinder/Top Brush Jumping

I would recommend you reach out to a company called Chroma Service in Italy. Several of their employees came from Ryko Italia and they would be specialists on those machines. Salvatore and his team can be contacted at service@croma-croma.com

    Air Cylinder/Top Brush Jumping

You didn't mention what model machine you are working on, but when the top brush "jumps", is an output coming on from the PLC of the machine to actuate the MAC valve? If so, then the program is likely controlling that "jump". If the TB is controlled via an air cylinder via belts, this sounds...

To transfer the program, you will need a Mitsubishi FX-20P HPP with the proprietary RYKO software. The newer models (FX-30P) may also work, but they would also need the RYKO software and be in the FX2N mode. I've seen them on EBAY, but RDM may also have older ones. If you don't have the...

    Side Brush damages customer car!

Make sure to use loctite on those bolts at the top of the brush core to ensure they stay firmly attached to the reducer flange. If you have customers running into the rear arm shafts, you may want to put bollards in place to help guide them more towards the center of the bay
